Garret Ross is currently pursuing an MM as a student of Alexander Braginsky at the University of Minnesota. Most recently, he was soloist for the World Premiere of Gregory Vajda's Csardas Obstine for Piano and Orchestra at the Music in the Mountains and Round Top Festivals. Ross was a winner in the 2011 Schubert Club Scholarship Competition and has performed and studied at the Banff Centre, International Keyboard Institute and Festival, International Festival-Institute at Round Top, AmerKlavier Institute at New York City Steinway Hall, and PianoSummer at New Paltz. In 2008, Ross graduated from Bethel University with a B. Mus. in Performance. There he won first prizes in the Solo and Concerto Competitions.
